Item System Overview
Items in Jujutsu Shenanigans split into two categories: shop consumables purchased with Cash, and map drops that spawn on timers in public servers. Items can turn losing fights into comebacks — a well-timed healing orb or explosive barrel often decides public Shinjuku engagements.
Duels and Roulette modes disable public map item routes. Item strategy applies primarily to public city and sewer gameplay.
Shop Consumables
Cash buys consumables from the Shop: Soda (small HP restore), Health Pack (significant HP restore), Energy Drink (temporary speed boost), and Reverse Cursed Technique Pill (gradual regeneration). Stock consumables before entering fights in public lobbies.
Earn Cash through daily quests (up to 45/day), weekly quests (up to 300/week), achievements, and codes. See our consumables subpage for detailed effects and pricing strategy.
Map Drop Items
Public Shinjuku spawns throwable rocks, traffic cones, explosive barrels, speed boost orbs, damage boost orbs, and healing orbs on timed intervals. Surface routes, sewer paths, and Shinjuku Station each have distinct spawn tables.
Competitive public players memorize spawn timers and routes. Controlling healing orb spawns near Shenanigans Ball creates territorial advantage in extended team fights.
Item Strategy Tips
Use Energy Drink for chase-downs after landing a combo on a fleeing opponent. Save Health Pack for mid-fight rather than post-fight — the animation leaves you vulnerable. Throwable rocks and traffic cones deal damage and knockback from range.
Explosive barrels near destructible buildings create area denial. Pick up damage boost orbs before committing to awakening all-ins for maximum burst potential.
