Control Layout Overview
Jujutsu Shenanigans uses a unified control scheme across PC and mobile, with the same four skill slots, M1 basic attack, block, dash, and evasive inputs. Whether you are playing the Honored One in public Shinjuku or dueling as the Vessel in a ranked arena, muscle memory on these core bindings determines how fast you can execute combos and react to incoming pressure.
The game separates movement from combat deliberately. You can walk, sprint, jump, and dash independently of your skill cooldowns, which means spacing and repositioning are always available even when your kit is on cooldown. Understanding which inputs are shared across every Style and which change during awakening is the first step toward consistent PvP performance.
Combat Inputs
M1 is your primary melee string. Holding M1 chains light attacks into extended combos, while releasing and re-pressing creates deliberate timing gaps for mix-ups. Skills are bound to 1, 2, 3, and 4 on PC, with corresponding buttons on mobile. Many Styles also use R (or the mobile special button) for enhanced versions of skills — the Honored One's Twofold Kick plus R, for example, extends pressure after Lapse Blue.
Block reduces incoming damage and can negate certain attack types when timed correctly. Dash (default Q on PC) provides invincibility frames during startup and is essential for escaping combo strings. Evasive is a separate defensive tool with its own cooldown — baiting opponents into whiffing their evasive before punishing is a core neutral strategy covered in our advanced mechanics guide.
Awakening & Domain Controls
Awakening activates when your meter fills through dealing and taking damage. Press G (or the awakening button on mobile) to transform into your Style's awakened form. Awakened kits often remap skill behavior — the Vessel becomes Sukuna with enhanced Cleave and Dismantle, while Ten Shadows unlocks Chimera Shadow Garden.
Domain expansions typically require awakening first and use a dedicated input shown in your moveset HUD. Domains like Infinite Void, Malevolent Shrine, and Self-Embodiment of Perfection create zone control that changes fight dynamics entirely. Practice activating domains in private servers before relying on them in public lobbies where third-party interference is common.
Utility & Menu Controls
The Shop (building icon, top-left) handles codes, consumable purchases, and emotes. The Style selector (character icon) lets you swap between all unlocked Styles before spawning. Achievements and daily quests live under the trophy icon. Update notes via the Notebook icon sometimes contain hidden codes or balance changes.
Emotes trigger from your emote wheel after equipping them in the Shop. Voice chat zones exist in specific public map areas — check map guides for Shinjuku Station and Shenanigans Ball locations. Camera controls on mobile use touch drag; on PC, hold right-click or use your preferred Roblox camera settings.
PC vs Mobile
PC players benefit from precise keyboard inputs for frame-perfect ragdoll cancels and dash cancels. Mobile players use on-screen buttons with optional button size customization in Roblox settings. Both platforms support the full roster — Restless Gambler's jackpot sequences and Ten Shadows' summoning inputs work identically once mapped to muscle memory.
We maintain dedicated subpages for PC controls and mobile controls with platform-specific binding tables. If you are switching platforms, expect a short adjustment period for dash direction and M1 hold timing.
