Lucky Coward Overview
Lucky Coward is Haruta Shigemo's S-tier luck Style built around Miracle invincibility and awkward timing traps. The fantasy is simple: take a bad trade, trigger Miracle, and convert the free turn into Ambush or Ankle Cutter pressure.
V1.79 did not redesign the identity, but it did make Miracle feel better while trimming a few oppressive ragdoll timers on Ankle Cutter and High Time.
Miracle & Dodge Timing
Miracle healing rose from 10 to 12.5 HP. Evasive activation now shows Miracle visuals, and losing Miracle plays a clearer sound cue so both players can track the resource. Successful dodges also prevent automatic blocking and add a 0.3-second delay before Ankle Cutter or High Time — intentional anti-mash pacing.
Play the delay. Opponents who expect instant cutter after every dodge will whiff; you want the delayed confirm once their respect window opens.
Offense After V1.79
Ambush hitbox duration is slightly shorter, but second-use ragdoll increased and downed Ambush / Stinger now apply true ragdoll. Ankle Cutter damage dropped from 12 to 10 with ragdoll 1.7 → 1.5s. High Time no longer refreshes cooldown from Delivery Dummy hits and sits at 1.8s ragdoll with a touch more reach.
Trip lost awakening gain from defeated players and Delivery Dummy cooldown refresh. Jawbreaker now prevents jumping, and Hand Sword highlights when outside camera view — quality-of-life that helps chase in messy public lobbies.
Recommended Routes
Core route: Miracle → Ambush → Ankle Cutter → High Time. Resource route: hold Miracle until a fat whiff, then Trip into Jawbreaker to stop jump escapes.
Lucky Coward still wins ugly fights. Do not force cutter loops into Register Speed Crash or Hanami domain lockdown — bank Miracle for the convert, not for ego checks.
